IPS 5500 Operations and Configuration Certification

Prerequisites:

Students should be familiar with IP basics, and have a working knowledge of Windows and some UNIX skills would be an advantage.

Description:

This 2 day, ‘hands-on’ certification course is designed to provide an overview of the operational and configuration features and functionality of the IPS 5500. Attendees will achieve in-depth knowledge of all aspects of usage and configuration of the basic features of the IPS 5500.

Students will receive printed training materials, lab exercises, and a CD containing IPS 5500 relevant documentation and tools. Students who successfully complete the course will receive Top Layer Sales Engineer Certification.

* Basic setup, Getting Started, Management, Forwarding Models, and Port Roles, + Lab Exercise
* Software upgrades, Flash recovery, Admin password recovery, + Lab Exercise
