Top Layer Promotes David Duda to General Manager of Federal Sales

Westboro, MA, March 08, 2004 -

Top Layer Networks, Inc., a provider of globally proven intrusion prevention solutions, today announced that David Duda has been promoted to general manager of federal sales. Duda will have responsibility for Top Layer’s federal government sales efforts and will also support state and municipal sales activities. He will drive sales and marketing strategy for Top Layer’s government programs, develop partnerships with government resellers, and work directly with government technologists to deploy Top Layer’s inline security solutions.

“As a director of sales for over four years, David has been instrumental in developing and building our federal business to the point where we are now a substantial supplier of security solutions to the government,” said Peter Rendall, CEO of Top Layer Networks. “David has a great base of knowledge about government agencies’ unique security needs, and I am excited he will be putting it to work across our entire federal program.”

Prior to Top Layer, Duda was at Bell Atlantic as a corporate account manager, selling security equipment for telecommunications networks. He is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, an organization of communications, intelligence and information systems professionals.

Duda is a graduate of St. Mary’s and lives in the Washington, DC area.
