Availability of SecureCOMMAND+ Threat Management Solution

SecureCOMMAND+ is the market’s first centralized IPS management product with an integrated security information management event correlation and reporting engine, providing customers with greater insight into their network security to protect against today’s highly adaptive security threats.

SecureCOMMAND+’s unique technology integration enables seamless identification, analysis and resolution of increasingly distributed and dynamic attacks that threaten the availability and security of business-critical resources. Because of the tight integration between the IPS 5500 and security information management engine, SecureCOMMAND+ delivers faster threat recognition and response -- unlike other IPS vendors that simply send syslog or SNMP information to 3^rd-party management solutions, thereby leaving the problem in the hands of the IT administrator.

SecureCOMMAND+ can also be upgraded to a full version of OpenService’s STM to include data from other sources (such as IDS and firewalls) in the real-time event correlation process for even broader perspective

· Threat Analysis and Response Engine: Performs specialized risk-based analysis that provides more accurate recognition and allows for focused response to threats

· IPS Provisioning and Management: The security posture of one or more IPS are provisioned with the appropriate focused response
